No. The Blackout Box is housed in a rugged, waterproof protective case designed for durability and portability. The case helps protect the system from water and damage during transport and emergency situations, but it is not a Faraday enclosure.

Does The Blackout Box come pre-loaded with all the survival info?

The Blackout Box comes preloaded with the operating system and a comprehensive offline library of essential resources, including survival books, maps, medical manuals, military field guides, Kiwix, and much more. This content uses less than 200 GB of the included 256 GB microSD card, leaving plenty of storage available for your own documents, media, and other personal files. If preferred, all preloaded content can be deleted at any time.

The Blackout Box runs a Linux-based operating system, allowing you to download and store a wide variety of files, including documents, PDFs, eBooks, videos, music, images, maps, offline websites, educational resources, and many Linux-compatible programs. Using Kiwix, you can also download entire offline knowledge bases, including Wikipedia, for access without an internet connection. You can also add and organize your own files, making The Blackout Box a personalized offline library.
